  1. This beer is a little bit lighter in appearance than I expected from an ipa. The nose is certainly that of an ipa. The taste is interesting, because it is subtle when it hits your pallet and then the back end fills-in with flavor. I love the name of name of this beer, because the appearance and the front end give you the illusion that this beer is light in flavor and then reveals the flavor at the end. Overall, I think this a good ipa. The hops are heavier in grapefruit than I expect in an ipa, but it is accessible for the non-hopheads out there.

  2. I was a fan - although it didn't pack the hoppy punch I would have expected from its name. Overall, a good beer and I would recommend it for someone needing a gateway or introduction to IPAs.

  3. The appearance is light golden straw color, beginning the illusion that this is going to be a meak IPA. The nose: Tropical fruit/apricot aromas. Malt is a light, sweet, bready cereal flavor. The hop bitterness is obvious yet subtle with pine forest and apricot flavors. Overall: Tasty and pleasant light IPA with something to offer both the seasoned and unseasoned IPA drinker alike. The alcohol heat is surprising. The very pleasant flavor and aroma hops keep you interested and wanting more, unfortunately the finish falls a little flat. Overall, a tasty IPA, I would drink this again in the summer, perhaps with a spicy shrimp ceviche. Cheers,

  4. Yup, that’s certainly an IPA. I don't really consider myself an IPA guy, but this isn't bad. It isn't too overbearing and is pretty smooth and drinkable, a pleasant surprise. I’d say that this is a very accessible beer even to those whom usually do not prefer IPAs; you can still tell it’s an IPA and the hops manage to make it interesting without being overbearing. Well played, Blue Point.

  5. This is a solid beer. I could definitely would recommend this beer to a friend. Great name and beer label Well balanced with malt sweetness and hops. However, for an IPA I'm a little disappointed. I was expecting more of a hop punch. I'm not sure I would classify this as an IPA, more of a Pale Ale to me. Overall, well made beer, but did not meet my expectations for an IPA classification.
