  1. I love this IPA!

Though not a session beer, I could drink a lot of these in a session. With 7% ABV, it would be quite a session, during and most likely after the drinking.

I enjoyed this fine offering from Bear Republic in a Chimay goblet and just breathed in the hoppy pine forest aromas for a while before taking my first sip.

The appearance is a light honey orange color and the bubbles were rather large.

Piney hops take charge with plenty of support from the lightly toasted character malts. This is a well crafted West Coast IPA that is beautifully balanced (meaning leaning towards hoppy on this Hop Head's scale).
The beer finishes with a hint of fresh orange peel, leaving the taster refreshed and ready for another sip.
    Go Racer 5, Go!

  2. I like this bear. Smooth on the front end and then the hops come out. The hops certainly make the beer interesting, but I didn't find them too overpowering and they did not overwhelm or distract from the rest of the beer. A balanced and fairly accessible IPA, well done Bear Republic.
